Every child develops at their own pace, but there are some common signs that may suggest your child could benefit from speech and language support. If you notice any of the following:

• Delayed talking: Your child isn’t using words or phrases expected for their age.

• Hard to understand: Even family members or caregivers struggle to understand your child’s speech.

• Limited vocabulary: Your child isn't picking up new words or has trouble using them in sentences.

• Difficulty following directions: Your child has a hard time understanding or remembering what’s being asked of them.

• Frustration when communicating: They may get upset or give up when trying to express themselves.

• Sound errors that persist: Certain speech sounds (like “k”, “g”, “ch”, “sh”, “r,” “s,” or “th”) are missing or mispronounced beyond the age when most kids have mastered them.

Speech and Language 30 minute sessions- $30

Reading and Writing Lab 30 minutes sessions- $30

We are a private pay provider at this time. Payment is due at the time of service we accept cash, check, debit, credit card.

While The Speech Nest understands that life can provide unexpected surprises and can interfere with your schedule. Frequent cancellations or “no shows" may delay your progress. We make every effort to schedule appointments that work best with your schedule. A missed appointment or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $20 fee. Late arrivals to appointments will be charged as a full appointment of the scheduled service. Frequent cancellations or “no shows” will result in discharge from services. Thank you
